Underneath what Shines
Underneath what Shines is an ongoing passion project of mine following the story of a werewolf and a vampire attempting to live ‘normal’ lives deep in the Maine wilderness, all the while forces beyond their comprehension act around them. It is a horror series, and my end goal with it is to make a serial comic following the story. Detailed lore and posts can be found on my instagram @dega.mime. Early comic draft
Below is the first draft I made of Underneath what Shines back in 2023, which features a section where one of the main characters, Valerie, is attacked and killed by a werewolf. This is the main catalyst for the start of the narrative, and sets the tone for the series.
